What carries over

Export from your old program, upload the file as it is, and check every row before anything is saved. Parties first, then items, then old invoices.

  1. The Bezuri Import data screen: pick myBillBook, Vyapar, Tally, Zoho Books, BUSY or Marg, see how to export from it, and choose the parties file.

    Export from Marg ERP

    Menus differ by version — these are usually under:

    Parties
    Masters → Ledger → Export to Excel (or Reports → Ledger → Party List → Excel).
    Items
    Masters → Item → Export to Excel (or Reports → Stock → Stock Statement → Excel).
    Sales invoices
    Reports → Sales → Bill Register (or Sale Book) → Excel. Only sales bills are imported.

    Paths vary with the version you run; the import still reads the file by its column names.

  2. Match your columns: Bezuri recognised a myBillBook export and paired each field — party name, GSTIN, phone, address — with the column in the file.

    Upload to Bezuri

    Dashboard → Import data. Pick Marg ERP (or let Bezuri detect it from the header row) and drop the file. Every column is matched to a field and shown to you first — change any guess from a dropdown.

  3. Check before importing: 4 new parties ready, 1 repeated row in the file, 0 to fix, with each row listed — nothing saved until Import is pressed.

    Review & go

    Each row is checked: new, already here (skipped or updated — your choice), repeated in the file, or needs a fix. Download the rows to fix, correct them, upload again. Then press Import and bill.

Switching from Marg ERP

Questions people ask before they move

What exactly carries over from Marg?

Ledgers (party name, mobile, GSTIN, address, city, opening balance with Dr/Cr), items (name, company or group, unit, HSN, GST %, sale and purchase rate, stock) and bill register rows (bill number, date, party, GSTIN, taxable value and net amount). Marg exports often have a title row above the table — the import skips it and finds the header row.

Will my invoice numbers continue from where they are?

Yes. In Settings → Numbering & Defaults, set your invoice prefix and the next number, and the first bill you make in Bezuri carries on from your last one in Marg. Imported bills keep the numbers they already had.

Can I keep using Marg while I try Bezuri?

Yes. An import only adds to Bezuri; it changes nothing in your old program. Run it again later and rows that already exist are skipped (or updated, if you choose) rather than duplicated.

What if my file has different column names?

The import guesses the mapping from the header row and shows you every column before anything is saved; change any guess from a dropdown. If you are starting fresh, download our blank template instead.

Is Bezuri really free?

Billing, stock, purchases, payments, reminders and reports are free with no time limit. Only e-invoice (IRN) and e-way bill are a paid GST add-on, priced per business on the Pricing page.
